About the Event
Return to Roots is our family reunion, bringing generations together for a few days of food, stories, and reconnecting in Pittsburgh, PA.
We're front-loading the weekend with an optional camping trip at Laurel Hill on July 27th and 28th, followed by a day trip to Ohiopyle for anyone who wants to get outside together (think rafting and river activities — sign up when you RSVP). From there, the reunion moves to South Park for two full days: Day 1 at South Park Black Ash, Day 2 at South Park Buffalo Inn, with activities, games, and time to catch up throughout, plus a formal dinner — so pack something nice for at least one night.
We'll also have a meet and greet for those arriving early or wanting some lower key time together before the main event — details on that are still being finalized and will be posted as soon…
